Known island-wide for their bountiful burritos, local hot-spot Bad Boy Burrito also serves up the Cayo Hueso Fish Tacos made from locally caught fish. Their homemade corn tortillas take their tacos to the next level. Bad Boy Tacos recently moved to Petronia Street.
Lagerhead's Beach Bar
If you walk to the end of Simonton Street on the Gulf Side you’ll end up in the ocean. But first, you’ll find a little beach for lounging and swimming. And wait, there’s also a sweet little shack that serves up some delicious food, including some of the best tacos in town. Sit back, enjoy the view and some tasty fish tacos on warmed grilled tortillas with their own Caribbean sauce. They also have great shrimp and chicken tacos.
Nine One Five
For a fancier taco, head to a stylish old home on upper Duval. Grab a seat on the large patio at Nine One Five, which offers some unique takes on the taco. Try the Chipotle Pork Tacos made with slow-braised pork, or the Walnut Pistachio Tacos (a gluten free option) with romaine hearts, avocado, cherry tomatoes, and a special sauce of cumin, garlic, and sweet chili. And of course, for the purest - blackened, local fish tacos, Nine One Five is your go-to taco joint in Key West.
