Key West New Year's Eve celebration is one of the largest community gatherings of the year that takes place every year from December 31st to January 1st. - Schooner Wharf Bar has the annual lowering of the Pirate Wench from atop the mast of a schooner. Located on William Street, this annual event draws a huge crowd for pirate-themed fun and celebration.
- Sloppy Joe's Bar hosts the annual conch shell drop. Also located on Duval Street, this event is a very popular choice for great drinks and parties.
- Sunset Pier at Ocean Key West is home to an annual free concert and a giant key lime wedge drop at midnight!
