We visit Key West as many as 5 times annually and try to experience different rentals each time. This one was Very clean, well equipped, well maintained, a unique 2 story home, huge master bedroom with bath and laundry room (about 600 square feet) upstairs with several comfortable chairs and large flat screen TV in the bedroom sitting area, also a nice bathroom on the first floor by the kitchen, back of home is basically 2 stories of glass - makes for nice view of pool and surrounding foliage, large heated pool for Key West - roughly 9' x 30' inside dimensions, a 6' boarded fence surrounds the very private property compound. Brand new pool heater while we were there. Management company is exceptionally responsive. Lida and Gail are wonderful. There is parking for ONE car. Make sure it is a compact, such as Kia Soul or SMALLER...can't fudge on the size of the vehicle. The bed mattress is VERY firm. We added a 1.5 inch Beauty Rest egg carton foam topper. There are 2 ways to access the bedroom...one is the vertical spiral staircase in the kitchen area and the other is outside up the stairs to the second level deck. Any guests with knee or hip issues may want to investigate another property that is only one level. We used the gas grill frequently and ate many meals at the glass table and chairs on the deck by the pool. Definitely a great experience. Submitted January 24, 2018
