Taking place over the MLK 3-day weekend, The Florida Keys Seafood Festival in Key West is a family friendly event showcasing local seafood and the Key’s commercial fishing industry. Taste the freshest shrimp, lobster and crab along with Flan and Key Lime Pie. Of course it wouldn't be a Key West seafood festival without some variations on conch - try some chowder, fritters and ceviche. There will also be libations, soda and water. Two full days of musical entertainment, raffles, children's activities and numerous vendors with their wares.

It's a $5.00 admission charge per person for adults, which also enters you into the raffle of $250 worth of seafood.

Parking for the festival is $5.00 at Horace O’Bryant Middle School parking lot (adjacent to Bayview Park). If you prefer to walk, wear your comfortable shoes, you are only eight blocks from Duval Street. Otherwise you can always hop on your bike and get there in a matter of minutes.

The Proceeds from this event support fisheries management and also funds scholarships for college bound students from Key Largo to Key West.
