Traveling Apps for a Stress-free Vacation
Traveling Apps for mobile phones are becoming the “new trend” while vacationing. There a lot of apps that have been created to assist with booking hotel stays, rental cars, checking flight status, finding restaurants and so much more. Planning a vacation is stressful in itself; downloading these few apps will make the process MUCH easier!
The list of apps is endless so, I have narrowed it down to 5 that seem to be most helpful.
TRIPIT is a one stop shop, it allows you to combine and organize all of your reservations into one. Flight alerts, seat tracker and rental car information are a few examples. All you have to do is handle the bookings then forward your confirmation emails to TripIt and all of the important information you’ll need will be put together for you.
PackPoint has to be by far THE BEST APP EVER! No more driving yourself insane with packing. While this app doesn’t pack the suitcase for you, it definitely helps with ensuring nothing is forgotten. A packing list/organizer is created and will help guide you in figuring out what to pack based on length of travel, weather, and activities you have planned for your trip. Finally packing can be made easy breezy!
BringFido comes in handy for those bringing their fury friend along on a trip. Having information for pet policies, pet friendly hotels and list of other places that are accepting of your animal is very helpful. Often traveling with an animal can be a headache when you realize they are not welcomed in so many places. Now you can plan ahead and include your animal companion!
XE Currency can be a great help for anyone traveling to different countries that need to know currency rates. Also there is information in regards to money transfers; currency data, updated facts and forex news are also available.
Skyscanner helps with finding the cheapest fares for flights, hotels and even car rentals.
