This is the 2nd time we have rented Lavender Jungle and Lida Engel makes everything easy for us from beginning to end. She is so pleasant to work with and very efficient. She even found me a dentist when I thought I had a cracked tooth. We had a small problem with one of the shelves in medicine cabinet and she immediately sent Bridgett over who fixed the shelf and also offered to pick up a new tank of propane for the gas grill. We feel fortunate to have found "At Home In Key West" and particularly in finding Lida and have already confirmed rental for 2018 Sincerely, Betty and Jeff Baumann

I cannot stress to you enough how good of a location this condo is in! It's a 15 min walk or less from Duvall St, Mallory Square and Ft. Zachary Taylor. I'm so glad we chose this condo over other ones we were looking at. Lida was also very nice and helpful with the booking process. I'll start with the things I loved about the place. Obviously the location was great. The condo is at the very back and only has "neighbors" on the side and above you. It was nice to be on the end, it seemed a bit quieter. The condo was perfect for our family of four. It was very cute, clean and had everything we needed. There were plenty of extra towels, pillows, blankets, etc... and everything you could need for the kitchen or grilling. The beds were all comfortable, loved having the washer and dryer right there as well. The Wi-Fi also worked very well and was able to support multiple devices. We were all very happy with our choice for this trip. Now for the negatives. And keep in mind these are minor things in the grand scheme of things but I like to be honest in my reviews. -The map they gave us to find the place was very confusing. We thought the dark lines on the map were the roads not the sidewalks. And it was almost impossible to read some of the numbers on the sheet they were so small. We got turned around a few times trying to find the place. My husband is a graphic designer and both of us thought they could have a much better map to give to people that was more legible and made more sense. Also, see the picture I've attached of the front door. The condo number is not visible beneath e screen door. We literally walked past it 3 times looking for it before we realized that was it. I recommend them painting the number on the outside of the screen door for easier visibility. -You have to park a good distance away. There is a lot right outside the back gate but your spot is a 3-5 min walk away. You are able to load and unload at the back gate but you just need to stay with your vehicle. It wasn't that big of a deal but something that should be noted. -We killed a small cockroach on our last night in the dining room. But it is down south so take that for what it's worth. The place was very clean though which is why I wasn't freaking out about it. -I was a little nervous about how low the two mirrors were hanging above the twin beds (see attached picture). My kids weren't able to sit up in bed even a little bit without leaning on the mirrors. I was worried about them falling on them and actually pulled the beds out from that wall a bit while they were sleeping because I was worried they'd somehow bump them. I would recommend hanging them up higher. -The furnace is in the master bedroom closet. It is VERY loud when the a/c kicks on which is pretty often. It sounds like an airplane taking off. Once it's on, it's ok, it's more like white noise but every time it kicked on it would wake us up. It took some getting used to and isn't much you could do about it due to space, etc... -We did lose power three different times but that's not so much a negative but more just to let other travelers know. I was under the impression that it probably happens a lot in the area. With that said, we had a great stay at Lavender Jungle and would totally stay here again and recommend to others! We thought it was a really cute place perfect for our needs. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the few minor negatives. If it wasn't for those few things, I would definitely rate it 5 stars.

Thank you for taking the time to review our home. It is always good to get feedback that helps to improve our guests' experience. The map of Truman Annex is the only one available and yes, the writing is small; that is why we highlight on it the location of the condo and the location of the parking space. Those spaces were assigned to the condos when the community was developed and there is no way to change that; fortunately the parking lot behind this condo is easy access for loading/unloading luggage. We have asked Maintenance to raise the two mirrors in the guest bedroom so guests can comfortably lean up against the wall, and we asked them to evaluate if the a/c needs attention. You are right about the power outages; during rainy season, living on an island, power outages will occur. Fortunately, they rarely last more than a few minutes. All in all, it sounds like you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to your return!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Key West

The accommodations were absolutely wonderful the location was perfect and the other tenants are not afraid of good conversation around the pool. It was absolutely awesome. This was my first time to Key West as I am from the West Coast originally, I have to say that it was one of my most enjoyable vacations. Thank you for having us.
Absolutely loved it !
