Robin is the co-owner, Principal Broker and President of At Home Key West Real Estate. She was born Baltimore Maryland and raised in a little town in Western Maryland. As an adult she moved to the Washington D.C. area and joined a retail company working her way up the management ladder to oversee a number of stores. Afterwards she enjoyed a sabbatical living in British Columbia for five years. Her home since 1996 is the small, tight-knit community of Key West. The sun and water drew her to paradise but the people and laid back atmosphere of the island are what keeps her here.
Having grown up in a real estate family, it was a natural step for her to follow in the realtor footsteps. Originally licensed in 1989 with a premier real estate agency in the Washington, DC area, Robin has always enjoyed interacting with a very diverse community bringing buyers and sellers together. She receives personal satisfaction and finds it gratifying to help people realize their dream of owning a home in this beautiful tropic oasis.
Robin was chosen Key West REALTOR of the year in 2005 for her dedication to the Key West Association of Realtors (KWAR). This award is voted on by the members of KWAR made up of over 450 REALTORS at that time in the association. She was an active member of KWAR Board of Directors for six year and a member of the MLS committee for five year. As chairperson of the MLS committee for four of those five years, she, along with experienced colleagues, was instrumental in the implementation of a new vendor to manage our MLS data. In addition, Robin also chaired the Property Management committee for the Association.
Robin has obtained the designation of Professional Residential Manager (PRM) in the field of property management. She, along with her business partner, Sybille Halford, have developed and built one of the most professional and knowledgeable companies in residential and commercial sales, property management and vacation rentals in Key West.
Robin is a member of the National Association of REALTORS, Florida Association of REALTORS, Key West Association of REALTORS, National Association of Property Managers (NARPM), and the Florida Association of Residential Property Managers (FARPM).
