The following are places the folks of At Home Key West like to patronize, listed in no particular order. Keep in mind casual dress is island dress even at our “fine” dining restaurants for those on Key West vacations and locals alike. Reservations are suggested especially during season.

Hogfish Bar and Grill – 6810 Front Street, Stock Island (305) 293-4041
Definitely a local’s favorite and a destination for visitors. Casual waterfront dining with live music. Specializing in seafood, killer hogfish sandwich, baja taco’s and lobster BLT but a varied menu with burgers, sandwiches and nachos. Recently awarded one of the top best seafood restaurants in the US by Travel + Leisure Magazine. Located in Stock Island, a little hard to find but well worth the trip.

Santiago’s Bodega – 207 Petronia Street, Key West (305) 296-7691
A wonderful experience with unique tapas style dining and a great wine list to go along with it. Truly fabulous food, family friendly however if you have a fussy eater for a little one it may be a challenge.

Antonio’s – 615 Duval Street, Key West (305) 294-6565
A landmark in Key West for over 25 years. Slightly upscale yet with a warm comfortable atmosphere, this is the best of Italian in Key West. A great selection of traditional and modern dishes that are all not only homemade but made to order.

Salute – 1000 Atlantic Blvd., Key West (305) 292-1117
This is a favorite of our staff, a Caribbean take on Italian with a lighter fresh flare to pasta, seafood and beef with fresh baked bread and veggies. A great beach side location makes for a wonderful view and is also fun for the kids, outside dining allows the little ones to play in the sand while you relax over a leisurely meal.

Hands down the locals pick for Cuban dining and where visitors are sent for the real experience. Casual dining with all homemade authentic recipes. Great for either lunch or dinner.

BO’s Fish Wagon – 801 Caroline Street, Key West (305) 294-9272
A must see and experience, this restaurant is Key West fun.  A funky little place built around the side of an old truck. One of the best fish sandwiches on the island with Key Lime mayo and fabulous homemade limeade to drink.  Fun for the kids, they have buckets of chalk and you can draw on the floors, walls and furniture.

Blue Heaven – 729 Thomas Street, Key West (305) 296-8666
Owned by the same folks as Salute, it is the same fabulous quality of food yet a very different menu.  Also, a destination place for visitors, I prefer breakfast here, the lobster, asparagus Benedict is out of this world. Word of warning though you must be a fan of our Key West Roosters to enjoy this place.

If you love sweets this needs to be on your list, nothing but dessert for dinner with along with a fabulous wine list. 2012 winner of Trip Advisors Decedent Dessert Restaurants Worth Traveling To. Can you say chocolate grilled cheese?

Caribbean-American dining served in either amazing ocean front deck or elegant inside dining room. This restaurant is truly special.

Bien Caribbean – 1000 Eaton Street, Key West (305)517-6740
A must go to lunch spot favored by both locals and visitors alike. It’s casual, a place you would probably miss if not on the hunt. Named #1 slow roasted pork sandwich in the entire US but fabulous Caribbean flavors throughout the very unique menu.

Camille’s Restaurant – 1202 Simonton Street, Key West (305)296-4811
Another Key West must, it’s a funky restaurant that’s been around for 20 years.  Located on the corner of Simonton and Catherine, its inexpensive gourmet done right. Voted best Crab Cake Benedict in the Florida Key. Family friendly, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

5 Brother’s Grocery and Sandwich Shop – 930 Southard Street, Key West (305)296-5205
Five Brothers has been in Key West for 26 years, it’s a place locals like to hang out for good food and coffee. Well known for its Cuban Mix and Bucchi but don’t forget to also try the fried grouper sandwich and BBQ pork!

Meticulously crafted sushi and Japanese, an elegant décor and prime location make this restaurant perfect for special occasions. Reservations are recommended.

Outdoor dining in a tropical garden setting offering a classic menu with an island twist.
