DUVAL COURTYARD - Located just steps from famous Duval Street in the rooftop community of Duval Square, this recently renovated three bedroom two bath one-story condo has plenty of space, a fabulous location and all the amenities you could wish for.
The main living area is spacious and flows from kitchen to dining area to french doors that open to a balcony where you can sit and people watch while sipping your margarita. The master bedroom suite has a king size bed with a beautiful bath ensuite along with it's own private balcony with seating. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and third bedroom with two twin beds and a shared bath between the two.
You are within walking distance to most of what Key West has to offer. Although close to Duval, the home is a quiet escape with it's own private gated entrance. Walk through the lower level tropical garden in the courtyard to find an area to relax or enjoy the rooftop community pool. Off-street, gated parking for one car is available. Very nice. While my wife thought the decor was lacking, we found the basic amenities as good. Liked the washer/dryer. Thermostat was in the Mbroom which seemed an odd location vs the main living area. Made bedrooms dependent on the aC needs of the Mbroom occupants. The porch, steps and deck leading up to the second floor entry was very dirty. Our grandson cleaned it himself with hose, brush and sponge and than was heavily chastised by the nearby store owner who apparently was using the space under the deck for storage. This deck needs professional cleaning. The kitchen could also use a few more glasses and coffee mugs. These comments in no way mean we wuldn't rent it again, just would like to see a few improvements.

The staff at at Home In Key West were very acccomodating and organized. We've rented from them before with similar experiences. Condo #31 was clean, but there were several small things in need of repair. The location is good and within walking distance to Duval Street attractions. Worst part of stay was leaf blowers and pressure washers running in courtyard commons areas just outside windows daily at 7:00 am! We won't be back.
Thank you for taking the time to review our homes. We are working on the minor repairs in the home and appreciate you bringing them to our attention. Regarding the early start time for workers in the courtyard, the start time has been changed to 8am. Please keep in mind that Old Town Key West is within City limits where maintenance is ongoing as well as the occasional rooster wake-up call at 4am. There are quieter areas of our island but they are about 1.5 miles from Old Town, not as convenient if you plan to walk around Old Town where most of the historic sites, restaurants, shops, etc. are located. We look forward to your return visit when we can balance out the best of both options for you.

We liked everything about the Duval Courtyard except that the air conditioning wasn't very cold. This unit has a lot of windows, so maybe it was just too difficult to keep cool during the day with the sun shining in. Otherwise, the location was great...a short walk to the Southernmost point, beach and shopping. Some of the more well-known spots like Sloppy Joe's, Hog's Breath and Mallory Square are kind of far away, but we did walk to them each day without too much of problem. There was plenty of room in the condo - two twin beds, one king, one queen and a sleeper sofa. Two large bathrooms and plenty of mirrors (we had several girls getting ready at one time!) Overall, a good place to stay and we would return here.

Great location if you want to be close to the action of Duval Street. Best decision we made was to rent bikes...should have done it sooner as it was so much easier to get around than walking. Condo was nice; we didn't really have a view, but we also weren't there much so not sure it mattered.

The Duval Courtyard condo was a perfect location for my friends and I to enjoy a 5 day vacation together. It was situated right on Duval street only a few blocks from the Hemingway House Museum, the nightlife, and shopping. The condo was also clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The pool was small, but had a nice area to lounge. The only downside to our stay was the lack of parking. There is only one space associated with this condo. Otherwise, this condo was great and I would recommend it to anybody!

This is an ideal location and the condo was very nice. The porch/deck overlooking Duval Square was our favorite spot for relaxing, people-watching and reading. (A couple of proch chairs need replacing). The master suite was excelent as well.
