Bahama Dreaming ~ Three Bedroom Cottage in Key West

Beautiful, clean, well-maintained home in the center of all the action!

The house is in a great location, we were able to easily get to duval street and was just blocks from the beach. Many of the good restraunts were close and a grocery store on the corner is very convenient. The patio and hot tub also made it great for lounging around and spending time with friends.

We received very good service. Everyone was efficient. The cottage was clean and well kept. The location could not be beat for the closeness to Duval street, local restaurants, drug stores and even a small market. We loved the privacy of the cottage and having our own pool to relax in after a day of sightseeing. We would have liked to have cable tv in all the bedrooms. The upstairs tv reception was not very good. It was great to have WiFi. It would have been nice for the pool person/landscape people to identify themselves to us before walking into the backyard to water plants/blow off deck/tend to pool. We looked up one morning and there were strange men in the backyard.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay it was exactly what I wanted and then some. Back porch was awesome!!! Pool patio front porch very nice inside very comfortable!! Perfect stay!!

The house is beautiful, just off Duval and all the fun of Key West! At Home was a charm to deal with, the arranged for us to get in early, and held our luggage safely when we checked out. Not a thing to complain about with the house or management.

Great location and price! House was clean and very spacious. Overall visit was wonderful but there were a few things that could have been better. Each bedroom needs a TV and the pool is shaded almost every hour of the day. I am sure the shade is nice in July but we could have used some sun in October :) The grocery store across the street is very convenient but the noisy delivery trucks start arriving at 6am...shortly after the roosters start crowing at 4am.

My new husband and I spent our honeymoon at bahama dreaming and it was a dream come true! The house was amazing, the pool and outdoor area was more than I could have asked for, and the location of the property in general was perfect!

We went to Key West with friends to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and had a blast! We can't say enough great things about our vacation in Key West. This home was just like staying at a friends house. The rooms were comfortable, the house was immaculate, and everything you needed for your stay was provided. We especially loved the pool area, the landscaping gave you all the privacy you could want. No need to rent a car! You really are around the corner from all the action but surprisingly you never hear it from the home (Don't know how that is possible but it is). Also grocery right on the corner is great for staying home and enjoying the BBQ by the pool. We were also impressed with the services of at Home In Key West and would recommend them. We can't wait to come back and would not waste one moment trying to find another home to stay at. This house was perfection!!!

The house was better in person than pictures. It is a great location for all the nightlife on Duval and Mallory Square. Not a far walk to the Southernmost Point either. We stayed with two other couples and they were pleased with the house also. Having the grocery store close is very convient for things you might have forgot or need. I would recommended this house to anyone who is staying in Key West.

The house was clean, great location,backyard and pool just perfect.would recommend a better a/c in the upstairs bedroom,room was so warm was difficult to sleep, however it was the middle of summer

It was the hottest temp in Key West in years. The house was located 1 block from Duval Street entertainment. The trolley took you all over Key West and the back yard pool was the saving grace every afternoon. There were six of us and every one went in different directions and had a great time, I would rent Bahama Dreamin again in a heart beat.

Wonderful house, great location. The roosters wake you up early (they start around 5:00am), so if you can stand that, it's golden. Staff at ahkw was always pleasant and responsive. House was in great condition and well-stocked with most everything we needed. Deck around the pool needs a little work, but maintenance was on their way on our day of checkout. Othewise, the pool and porch are the perfect combo for relaxing and enjoying Key West.

Bahama Dreaming is quite unsuspecting from the exterior, but once you enter, and especially once you enter the covered deck/pool area... it's fantastic! There are some neighboring roosters that like to make some noise in the mornings... but besides that, nothing negative to say.

The house was really great. It was just big enough and the back yard is really amazing with the grill, patio and pool. It did cost quite a lot, but the location made it worthwhile. The rental agency was basically non-existent, and a little forward with their e-mails and payment requirements. Also, several service providers (gardeners, pool cleaners, gas company, etc) all showed up unannounced. It would have been nice to have had advanced notice.

This was our second stay at "Bahama Dreaming". After a few minor kinks were worked out upon our arrival we had a great vacation. The staff at at Home in Key West addressed these concerns in a professional and timely manner, much of it probably having to do with us being the first occupants in several weeks. It is amazing that you are so close to Duval Street but feel like you are in a tropical oasis. It is also very quite given the short distance to all of the action. We will definitely be coming back next year!

Had only 3 days to enjoy Bahama Dreaming. Was very much suited for our family. Close to activities but off the heavey traffic areas. Only complaint would be the local roosters and their early wake up calls. But they are all over Key West.

We liked the house alot... We were not aware of the trash and Rooster issues... There were a few things that were misleading. The pool being one its really a large hottub. Also the Tv's were some of the oldest available. They should really be updated.

This was my second time staying in Bahama Dreaming. You really can't beat this location in terms of being near restarants, bars, etc. Only downside is that this is not a house to stay in if you like to sleep in late. There are roosters everywhere at the crack of dawn, and the delivery trucks at the grocery store across the street are nonstop in the morning. Great house overall, though.

We had the best time at Bahama dreaming the house really is the perfect place for relaxing, soicalizing, eating and chilling out! Unfortunately we had hurricane paula brushing up against the Keys, so the weather wasn't great and my family traveling from the UK don't quite believe that the Ocean and the Keys really are that lucsious aqua/blue/green!! but having said that we still had the best time and i would not hesitate to recommend Bahama Dreaming :)

The house was nicely furnished and fully stocked. The house was immaculate. The location was perfect. The pool was sparkling. I can offer nothing but praise. Would highly recommend this house to anyone looking far a house rental in Key West. We have been taking "ladies-only trips" to Key West for 5 years now - this was, by far, the best house yet!

Great house and great location. The only thing that was slighty wrong was the tvs were small and out of date. For the price they charge, you should have better tvs. But overall, a very nice house. We will be back! Oh and a better stereo they had some cheap stereo system

We had no complaints whatsoever. The place was neat and clean we had plenty of towels and linens. The only thing I can say is while we were there, there was a power outage in most of Key West for approx. 25 minutes, we had no flashlights or candles, we found some birthday candles in the pantry which saved the night, we lit them and sat on the back porch waiting for the power to return. I understand this occasionally happens in Key West so be sure to bring some flashlights or candles. Overall the stay was great!

This was the ideal location for the group I traveled to Key West with. You really can't do better when you're a block from Duval Street while having a grocery store across the street. The pool and porch were fantastic. The rooms were clean. There really isn't anything I can complain about about this house. Loved it

We had a great 3 night, 4 day stay at Bahama Dreaming in Key West and would highly recommend this property. Not only is it centrally located in the heart of it all, it is right down the street from a great little market. No need to rent a car or even a bike...we walked everywhere. We had three couples and were so comfortable in the house. The pool out back is awesome and we felt like we had out own little tropical getaway right in the heart of Old Town Key West. Bahama Dreaming is well worth it!

The house was great. The mini pool was perfect. Location was great. My only complaint you have no control over. There was a rooster across the street from us that crowed every morning from 4am to 9am. Non stop every few minutes. And the grocery store across the street gets deliveries very early as well. Aside from not getting a lot of sleep - we had an excellent time.

great location, great pool/patio. If you have a group of 5 or more it may be tough to find a better value in KW. Loved it

I went down with my family to celebrate a significant birthday. We had a blast! The house definitely met our expectations. You know you are always nervous when booking online, but it turned out great. The home was nicely decorated, clean, had an awesome back porch where we spent majority of our time. It was in a perfect location with a grocery store across the street, Duval street two blocks away, and a yummy late night pizza joint around the corner. Great for 2am munchies:). Highly recommend this place.

Bahama Dreaming is in a good location but needs to have the living/eating space redecorated. The living room sofa should be carried to the curb (college furniture). House was well stocked. The main floor bathroom opens into the living room. Outdoor eating area looks over a lush backyard and nice pool but the eating area is dark and dingy with uncomfortable seating. Service from At Home was good and prompt when the banister on the staircase was shaky and unsafe. I would rent from At Home again but not this house.

This is in the CENTER of where you want to be in Key West, tucked away on a small side street half a block from Duval Street. We literally walked to every single thing we wanted to go see. The house is immaculate, the beds are amazing, the bathrooms are perfect. The pool has a waterfall! The grill worked, the kitchen was beautiful. I really can go on and on about this place but all I will say is 5 stars is just not enough. Amazing, amazing find.

Service was excellent. Cleaning Staff were most accomadating. The home was excellent, Phone did not work and the couch was a little uncomfortable. Location was perfect- walking distance to most things, great, Everything was wonderful. No problems.

We chose this house based on the location - which was perfect for being in walking distance to all the night life. We rented bikes for our daily outings to the beaches and the wharf. The house is cozy, beautifully decorated and a great place to relax...my college aged kids enjoyed relaxing in the pool everyday after whatever day trip we had planned. Issues with the house are pretty much stated in other reviews - it's a busy street early in the morning (6am) with deliveries to Fausto's (grocer) and the roosters start crowing at 2am. This is mostly an issue for any light sleepers in the house -specifically those in the front bedroom. We bought a box fan for the upstairs bedroom that blocked out all noise ($20 investment was well worth the sleep). The house is well equipped with everything you might need for "living" - cooking, drinking, relaxing and having fun - though an upgrade to the stereo to a system that plays MP3s is suggested and some speakers on the deck would be a nice addition.
