Wonderful condo! Bedrooms overlooked the ocean. Nice and clean. Updated baths! Convenient location easy to get in to and out of. The frogs were loud at night but that's wild life for you. Would definitely stay there again.

A Zen Garden was a great spot. I visited here with my wife and parents for the 4th and we were very pleased. The master bed and bath are fantastic. The other bedroom is much more basic and is a bit disappointing compared with how great the master bedroom is, but we were fine with it. It's not a close walk to Duval, so you'll need some kind of transpo (bike, taxi, car) to hit up the action on the island. The parking garage was also under construction and this caused some issues considering we were there for a holiday weekend, but we parked when a spot opened and then left the car there for much of our stay. The pool on the property is fantastic-- very large and greats for swimming. Plus it's a close walk to one of the public beaches in the area. Our balcony was the perfect spot to watch the 4th of July fireworks, as those are shot from near the pier and our condo had a clear view of the whole show, without needing to battle the hordes congregating near the beach around the pier. All in all, a great trip.

We were nervous about booking over the internet but it was just like the pictures. The neighbors asked us to keep it down as we were laughing so loud in the living room at one am, so we just hung out in the master bedroom after 11 pm. Nice, clean and friendly. The pool area was good too. We did have to rent a car to get to downtown etc, but it was very inexpensive. The view was worth it and we did get peace and quiet when we wanted to.

I traveled to the Keys with my husband and my two best girlfriends. The Zen Garden Condo was absolutely perfect for our stay. The condo was eccentric in the decorations which we loved ~ great conversations were had sitting by the bamboo mobile, the mirrors in the living room are a nice touch and the statue by the door ~ well we kissed it for luck. The bathroom in the master room was awesome ~ tv, tile and enormous. The kitchen was big and had everything you could possibly need from coffee maker and coffee cups, to a blender, utensils, bowls and a microwave. Thanks to the blender, we could choose 'on the rocks' or 'frozen' for our margaritas! The twin beds in the guest suite were small, I would not recommend anyone of real adult size sleeping in there (my friends are small, so the small beds were okay for them...even though I think their feet were hanging off the ends...anyway). Overall our stay was superb! The pool was very nice, clean and had an awesome view of the beach. We walked down to the beach easily from the pool area. $4 a person for a cab to Duval Street was easy on the wallet and the serenity of the location on the atlantic was well worth it. The view from the Zen Garden balcony was equally as nice ~ ocean on the left and botanical garden on the right. We even had an iguana visitor on the porch...nice touch! Loved this place. Wish it were a touch cheaper however, for a small group ~ this place was really nice and absolutely perfect!

the apartment was lovely...beds were comfortable. kitchen utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc, all the essentials were more than adequate. when service was needed,it was prompt. the scenery is stunning from all windows. the only drawback were the plants on the patio. it invited the iguanas, which ate they plants, which created dirt..it was not comfortable to sit out there. but, we would return. we were there for 3 very wonderful months.

Carol for at Home in Key West could not have been more helpful or patient. We were trying to set-up a few suprises for my parents 50th Wedding anniversary and she listened to our question and concerns nad helped with much more than simply renting a place to stay. Help with ideas on appropriate activities as well as setting up a welcoming gift basket with wonderful fruits and cheeses to tie us over until we were able to stock up on necessities. Everyone I spoke to at Home in Key West was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to help us plan our vacation. Extremely customer service oriented.

Beautiful facility, great pool area, condo was spacious and had a great view. Needs an upgrade on pots and pans (handles falling off) and a supply of toilet paper would be nice. Don't want to be running to market for paper supplies when your paying this amount for a unit. I would definitely stay here again.

We spent a week in Key West for our wedding/honeymoon and loved everything about our accommodations. Much to our delight, "A Zen Garden" looked just like the pictures and the location and the views could not have been more beautiful. We will most certainly stay there again and rent through at Home Key West.

We recently stayed at 1800 Atlantic for a week. Our condo unit was very nice. I was, however, dissappointed with the 1800 Atlantic Complex. There are a few too many rules!!!! No coolers near the pool. Pool and hot tub close at dark. There is a tennis court. The first time my teenagers went to use it they were told they would have to sweep it first. Then the second time they went they were told that they need to have their own racquets to play tennis. Who travels with tennis racquets? There was a basketgall court with no rims. There used to be an exercise room, now it is an office. No place to toss a football..... My kids were pretty bored! It was pretty hard to feel welcome at the condo complex. Luckily Smathers Beach is right next door.

We arrived in Key West aboard the Key West Express Catamaran. We took a ride with the bike taxi's to the At Home in Key West offices, we got there at 1:05p.m. very excited about our stay. The owner pulled up and went in the back door, all the time knowing we were on the front porch. The bike taxi guy even made a special attempt to tell her we were waiting. She told him, we are closed until 1:30 for lunch. She had no lunch in her possession. I knocked on the door she pulled the door open and with a very hateful tone proceeded to tell me they are closed until 1:30 for lunch. I asked if her name was Sharon she said NO, I asked if her name was Jenny, same hateful response, she then proceeded to tell me she was the owner! Imagine working for her, I don't think so!! The only thing she had to do was give us the keys to the condo. Our sales associate Sharon told us we could check in as soon as we arrived because it had not be rented and would not need to be cleaned. Needless to say I found her to be rude and her attitude unacceptable. Our condo A Zen Garden was nice. There was a broken lampshade that could have been replaced for very little. Only two small bath towels, and two washclothes in the entire unit! There were four of us! The unit was clean and furnished well. The televisions left much to be desired, 19 inch antiques. Key West is a wonderful time and I plan to return for several weeks next year. Will I rent from At Home in Key West, probably not. I am a considerate person and hope to be treated the same, especially if I just handed you over one thousand dollars for a two night stay! One last thing, I accidentally called the office by mistake and told Gayle I'm sorry I dialed the wrong number, no response she was rude and hung up in my ear! "There is simply no excuse for BAD MANNERS!
The staff at At Home In Key West was dismayed to learn about your displeasure. Our company strives to assure our guests enjoy their visit to Key West. In response to the comments on your visit: Check-in time is 4pm which is communicated at the time a reservation is made, when a confirmation is sent, etc. When guests arrive early to the island, we offer to store their luggage until they are able to check in. We regularly remind our guests that an early check-in cannot be determined until 24 hours in advance as there is the possibility of last-minute reservations, and the housekeeping staff would need time to prepare the home between guest visits. That was the case here; a few days after Sharon confirmed this reservation, a guest reserved the property to depart that morning. Our housekeeping staff went above and beyond to prepare this condo for an early check-in, without sufficient time to remove clean towels from the dryer. If you had contacted our office, we could have assisted you with that information as well as taking care of the broken lampshade.
