Live Entertainment. This week in Key West

If you are a tourist in town for a short period of time, it can be a bit overwhelming to choose what to do or what to see among the myriad of options that’s sometimes too much to bear.  There is always a good selection of live entertainers in town no matter what time of year it is. And this week is no exception. Nowadays, more bars and venues are adding live entertainment to their staples and it is always a good thing to check it out to find the right groove for the night. We have selected a few places for you to check out this week. Some of them are have been around for a while and stood the test of time, and some are new and in need of a bit of support so they can built a fan base and thrive.

Sunset Pier at Ocean Key Resort and Marina.  Artists and tourists’ favorite venue is located at the foot of Duval Street and next to Mallory Square. Smokin’ Tuna Saloon. For country music lovers the venue is a must see stop. Southern flare, tall drinks and friendly staff make you feel right home. Add easy on the eye performers to the mix and see your night slipping away. 4 Charles Street

La Te Da. The island’s iconic stage and piano bar is going through a renaissance as of late. New ownership is trying to lure wider range of patrons with an addition of new performers to the lineup. In addition to jazz, cabaret and Broadway classics, take a listen to what is buzzing on mainstream tunes. 1125 Duval Street
