Key West Pride. June 10-14

keywestprideThe entire Key West community celebrates Pride each year and this year will be even bigger & better. We are a small town and the parade has a small town feel, where the official motto is ONE HUMAN FAMILY! Key West shows its Pride every day, and this is your chance to be a part of the celebration! This five day celebration includes a film festival, dance parties, drag shows, bike tours, clothing-optional pool parties, water excursions, a street fair, Pride Pageants, and a ‘Pride in Our Community’ Parade down Duval Street. Key West Africana Festival. June 18-21

The Key West Africana Festival promotes Culture and Community Wellness while Exploring the Africanabahama village Cultural Heritage in Key West during a three-day destination retreat focusing on Thought, Culture and Wellness within the African community. The influences of Caribbean, African-American and Afro-Latino culture is evident in all of Key West. We will celebrate music, art and culture while enjoying a beautiful destination vacation in Key West. 39th Annual Swim Around Key West. June 6

swim around key westThis swim is the historic. The classic “around–the-Island” swim begun in 1977. The current record finishing time is 3:31:28 set in 1999. Any first-place swimmer who beats that record time will be rewarded with $1,000 at our awards ceremony following the 39th Annual Swim.
