Visit the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Animal Farm this Sunday for an Open House!!
Bring the family and spend the afternoon with a variety of friendly animals residing at the farm! Many of these critters have come from abusive or neglected homes, or have been donated by people who simply cannot care for them any longer. So, they are eager to meet new people and LOVE the visits and attention! Get acquainted with horses, a steer, pigs, goats, sheep, bunnies, alligators, tropical birds, kinkajous, Sloths, a Lemur, Kramer the Emu, a family of Patagonian Cavys, tortoises and turtles, snakes and many more.
Meet Farmer Jeanne, learn about her buddies, and make some new friends!
Admission is free, and donations are very much appreciated (especially by the animals!). The farm is located just off of College road on Stock Island at the Sheriff’s Office Headquarters complex. Hope to see you there!
