The 32nd Annual Hemingway days kicks off Tuesday July 17th. Like birds flocking south for the winter, many Ernest Hemingway look-a-likes come to Key West in hopes of being named the next Papa Hemingway. And other’s come for an excuse to drink. But all come to pay homage to an extraordinary man. Ernest Hemingway was a Nobel Prize winning author. His zest for life, literary accomplishments, and love of Key West is celebrated in this 6 day festival. Some of the events will include the Key West Marlin tournament, a street fair, the “running of the bulls, and of course the Ernest Hemingway Look-A-Like Contest. For more information on the festival please call 305-294-5717.
