Pulitzer prize-winner, Ernest Hemingway, lived in Key West throughout the 1930s, writing some of his most enduring works and embracing the live-and-let-live island attitude. To commemorate his zest for life, literacy accomplishments and enduring affection, fans of his writing and exuberant lifestyle come together each year for Hemingway Days.
