The Rotary Club of Key West is hosting another great festival, “Reggae Moonsplash”, this Saturday, November 20th, under the full moon at the Truman Annex waterfront. Performers include Ky-Mani Marley, son of the legendary Bob Marley; Reggae superstar Pato Banton, one of England’s top Roots Reggae artists; and Grammy nominees The Spam Allstarts, who blend an incredible array of Funk/Dance/Hip-Hop/Island and Latino elements that make them truly unique. This is one show you definitely don’t want to miss!
Be sure to stop by Southermost Hotel Pool Bar at 1319 Duval Street from 4-5pm (just before the concert) as Marley will also be doing an in-person book signing! Come meet a Marley, have your book signed, and catch an oceanside concert by moonlight!
The event benefits the Rotary Club of Key West’s “College Scholarship Fund,” a charitable fund that specifically creates scholarships and funding for local Key West High School students who might not otherwise have the opportunity to go to college. Tickets are on sale now via KeysTix.com, Stick & Stein, Neptune Designs, and Southernmost Beach Cafe. Gates open at 5pm. Food vendors, beer and drinks onsight; no outside coolers or beverages allowed. You may bring blankets and chairs. Children under 12 Free with a Paying Adult.
