U.S.S Vandenberg set to be sunk, May 27th

The date has been set for the sinking of the U.S.S Vandenberg to become an artificial reef on May 27th.  If all goes well and weather and other circumstances permit tug boats will guide the ship from it’s current location at the Truman Waterfront to the sink site, where it will be anchored overnight.

Boats will need to stay a mile away while the ship is being sunk. And once the ship is on the bottom, clearance divers will ensure that all charges were detonated.
